We’re thrilled to be returning to Karmavida in September 2026 for our 3rd year! Unwind and recharge with outdoor yoga surrounded by breath-taking nature. Take a dip in the stunning pool, savour delicious meals, soak in the hot tub and indulge in rejuvenating holistic treatments. Treat yourself!
ABOUT
Embrace the new day with fun Yoga flows each morning and reconnect with afternoon relaxing yin sessions, awaken the senses with breathwork and meditation and find your inner child with an exciting Aerial workshop! Dine on healthy local vegetarian food al fresco style, as we eat nestled in the mountains and under the stars.
With exclusive access to the whole resort, in your free time you may wish to jump in the brand new swimming pool, have a dip in the hot tub, get a relaxing ayurvedic treatment, read your book in a secluded nook or cranny or wander around the mountainous surroundings. You may even wish to grab a cab to the beach or the local town!
We promise to look after you and of course, have a lot of fun along the way. Everybody is welcome, the classes are open for all levels and abilities of Yoga and you will be fully guided and supported. We guarantee you a relaxing and rejuvenating experience with a bit of dancing, a lot of laughs and many unforgettable memories
THE VENUE
Karmavida yoga retreat centre located in the South of Spain in the Costa Blanca mountains is a serene and picturesque sanctuary in the heart of nature. Proudly, it is featured on Channel Four's 'A New Life in the Sun: Where are they now? ' which can be viewed on More4.
The space has been perfectly designed for a full retreat experience with a brand new swimming pool and use of hot tub. There is an outdoor cinema, several lounge areas, a beautiful terrace with banquet dining table for meal times and 2 fully equipped yoga shalas. There is even an Aerial yoga area to play on! We will mainly be practicing outside on the wonderful wooden decked shala with scenic views of the valleys.
THE SURROUNDING AREA
Calpe and Benissa in the province of Alicante are the nearest towns to our retreat venue, located only a 10 minute drive away. They both offer a mix of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and coastal charm. They are ideal destinations combining a blend of relaxation, exploration, and an authentic Spanish experience.
Many activities are available from hiking in the mountains to SUP paddleboarding and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops are around to sample the local delights.

The menu at Karmavida will include all local fresh ingredients, mainly vegetarian and vegan and all cooked with love and presented beautifully by Kat who loves to feed our guests. You will certainly not go hungry here! Please inform us of any dietary requirements or requests and we can cater to suit.
We will provide you with two wholesome healthy meals a day; brunch and an evening meal. In addition to fresh fruit smoothies and juices, and healthy snacks. Two of the evenings, we will be dining in recommended restaurants to experience the local culture and cuisine.

GETTING THERE
Flights to Alicante airport are best, cheap and easy. Alicante is approx 45 mins drive away. Valencia is also an option and is 1 hour 20 mins by car. We can happily help and book a taxi for you for a pick up from the airport. There is also a shuttle bus option we can advise you about which runs to Calpe.

Our Special suite is the biggest (and most fabulous!!) bedroom in the house, with a four poster bed, private terrace and large en-suite.
